The Electronic Music Conference and Expo, popularly known as EMEX, is a multi-faceted platform for the Philippine electronic music scene, music production, DJ, EDM, recording, pro audio, and nightclub industries. On its 4th year, EMEX is one of the most unique and creative events held annually, attracting individuals from all over Asia and the Philippines. EMEX offers business potential including networking events focused on music, technology, sustainability, talent discovery, and music education.

Noel de Brackinghe a.k.a. Salamangkero (Witch Doctor) is truly one of the pioneers of the Philippine Electronic music scene. When Manila's rave scene was taking off in 1996, He helped organize Kinky Sphere throwing underground parties in different uncommon locations playing jungle and drum & bass. He later played in major events alongside DJs Ken Ishii and Pure Science. By the end of the 1990's, Noel was part owner of the legendary club Kemistry in Malate. Noel (with classically trained Malek Lopez) is one half of pioneering electronic duo Rubber Inc. As Rubber Inc, they performed with Ballet Philippines and the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra.In 2007, they performed at the C/O Pop music festival in Cologne, Germany. They have also traveled the world playing in cities such as Berlin and Hanoi. Noel is also a well-known record producer, with his Sweetspot recording studio producing some of the biggest independent Filipino artists. As a DJ, he is well known for his long eclectic journeyesque sets playing a distinct dose of techno, IDM, house, dub and a bit of psychedelia and anything else that will fit the moment. Currently he is working in live sound as an Audio Engineer for Soundcheck setting up the biggest concerts in the country.
